Less than 5 miles from our house is beach access to the Gulf of Mexico. It’s a very small beach and the water is too polluted to swim in. But, it’s still a beach, and I think there are few things as humbling as seeing the water stretch out over the horizon. The vastness is such a beautiful reminder of the greatness of God’s glory.
Sunday night we took theĀ girls up to the beach for a picnic dinner at sunset. The girls had an absolute blast and it was the perfect way to close out the weekend.

Oh that is beautiful .. . just beautiful. Makes me long for a body of water (other than Lake Erie) and some warm sunshine!
Gorgeous. I wish I was there. We’re finally getting snow…enough to close schools today and hopefully enough to get outside to play.
Wow, that is absolutely stunning! And a picnic dinner at the beach at sunset sounds like such a wonderful way to finish the weekend too. Those colors are amazing.
